You only need to mix in everything together and freeze it, that's it! Paan icecream, wow. this recipe is just awesome, it just taste as if i am eating chilled sweet paan.

Ingredients of Paan Icecream

  1. Prepare 1 litre of milk.
  2. You need 1 1/2 cup of sugar.
  3. You need 1 1/2 cup of cream.
  4. You need 1/4 cup of cornstarch.
  5. It's 4 of beetel leaves (paan leaves).
  6. Prepare 5-6 of dried dates soaked overnight (chopped).
  7. You need 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder.
  8. It's 1/4 cup of gulkand.
  9. It's Pinch of green food colour.
  10. It's 1 tsp of fennel seeds.
  11. Prepare as needed of For garnishing coconut powder saunf and gulkand.

I know summer is coming to an end and i am posting this Paan ice cream recipe. Do we need a Summer to relish an ice cream😉. I have made this ice cream last year and clicked the video and step wise pictures of paan ice cream. Paan (betel leaf) ice cream, no ice-cream maker needed!

Paan Icecream step by step

  1. Wash the paan leaves and grind with lemon juice, sieve through a strainer and keep aside..
  2. Chopped the dates..
  3. In a bowl mix together the paan juice,chopped dates,cardamom powder,fennel seeds and gulkand keep aside..
  4. Dissolve the cornstarch in 1/4 cup of cold milk keep aside..
  5. Place the rest of milk in a pan to boil for 15 minutes.
  6. Add sugar, stir..
  7. Add cornstarch stirring continuously. Add green food colour..
  8. Remove from the flame allow it to cool..
  9. Add paan flavoring mixture and cream to the milk..
  10. Mix well and pour in a shallow dish freeze for half an hour..
  11. Remove and beat with a hand blender..
  12. Freeze again for 5-6 hour or until firm..
  13. Scoop and garnish with coconut powder, saunf & gulkand serve chilled..
